Can someone please ask Pat Robertson to stop making ridiculous statements? http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/11/10/religion.robertson.reut/index.html

Thoughts on ministry, Theology, Jesus, and Culture. "The Bible has not been given to us to satisfy our curiosity but to shape our lives in a particular way in response to God."

Good thing his focus is in the right place....maybe he'll lose his voice after an interview or something. Nice post on the "conversation."
Wow. It's amazing to me that people like him and other relatively unthinking Christians make the unspoken assumption that if God is dishonored by the teaching of evolution in a school (which He surely is), that He would therefore conversely be honored by the teaching of intelligent design--based upon the amazing order and irriducible complexity of the universe, it is utterly scientific to state that an intelligent force (no capitalization) is behind the existence of the universe. This intelligent force need not be personal, and it certainly need not correspond with the Christian God. I'd rather have intelligent design taught in schools too, because it's at least a foot in the door, but strictly speaking it does no more to honor Christ as the Creator than does the alternative.
I don't remember reading about the great prophet Robertson in the OT?
