Emerging Stuff

If you've yet to join the conversation, you're honestly not missing much, in my opinion. If you've dabbled a little in this new movement, you should begin cheking out Doug Wilson's reviews of A Generous Orthodoxy. Wilson has been posting a series of interactive reviews with McLaren's book. They have been witty, comical, insightuful and very entertaining. Wilson is a tremendous writer who calls McLaren (and others) to some level of theological accountability for the things they are saying. Although, this is probable exactly what the EC people would say the problem is - us critical hardline fundamentalist thinking we're right.
