Being on the west coast on saturdays definitely has its advantages. Like college game day starting at 7:30 in the morning and having the first kick off usually at 9 or 9:30 in the morning. This makes for great saturdays of game watching. Starting the day with some freshly ground beans, making some sweet tea and taking in football, what could be better? The day begins with bits and pieces of game day, then a few hours of reading and study before the big games start, about lunch time. Today we had some stellar SEC matchups. Bama squeaked out another one over TN (6-3 on a last second field goal), and Auburn/LSU finished the night with a classic. LSU won in OT after scoring a field goal first and Auburn misses a 38 yarder to end it. Texas Tech got stomped today leaving 6 undefeated teams out there. Bama had better find an offense real soon. You can't continue to count on holding teams to 10 pts or less. I think the loss of Tyrone Prothro
is looming larger every day. If for only 2-3 plays a game, that's still big. That would have been the difference the past 2 weeks.
